At Falklands Outdoors we believe in providing a unique and memorable experience for all our guests. We provide a wide range of tours, that suit all different ages, abilities, and confidence levels.
Activities on offer include: Private 4WD tours to wildlife destinations (including Bertha’s Beach, Volunteer Point, York Bay and Whale Cove), private 4WD tours to local beauty spots and points of historical interest, sea kayaking, climbing, hill-walking, fishing, electric bike rides and surfing.
We tailor all of our experiences to suit different expectations and levels of experience. We also tailor our tours to suit different groups. We recognise that a tourist who is visiting the Islands for only one day has different needs and expectations to someone who is visiting for longer. For this reason we would ask that you select the correct option below.
So many of our guests arrive on cruise ships and only have a short window to experience the Falkland Islands. A day is not long, therefore our priority for you is to make sure you make the best use of your time here. We have tailored all of our Day Visitor tours to include elements of wildlife, natural beauty, history and culture, so that you will leave the Islands with a real taste of what makes our home so special.
As cruise ships can quite often be cancelled at the last minute due to the weather and other concerns, for Day Visitor bookings only, we have introduced a flexi cancellation policy. If your ship doesn’t make it to port you will get a full refund, with the exception of a £10 fee to cover booking costs.

We want you to enjoy your time in the Islands. You may have a week, a fortnight or a month, or you may live here permanently. Whatever your background, age, abilities and expectations, we will have a tour perfect just for you.

Did you want to experience our amazing wildlife and local beauty spots from a different perspective? Come with us sea-kayaking or perhaps for a day’s fishing. Are you feeling adventurous and wanting to try a new outdoor activity? Or perhaps you are experienced but would benefit from equipment and a local guide? Book a day’s climbing, surfing, hill-walking or come for an electric bike ride.
Some of the activities we offer are weather dependent. In particular sea kayaking, which is unsafe in windy conditions. As you are in the enviable position of having a little time, it is possible for us to take your booking and then get in touch closer to the time if the weather is not suitable. We re-arrange tours that are not possible due to the weather conditions at no extra cost. For further information please see our cancellation policy.
Please note:
Sea kayaking is entirely weather dependent. For this reason, we cannot offer Sea Kayaking to day tourists arriving on Cruise Ships. The likelihood of us needing to cancel due to the weather is too high. However, if this is something that you are really passionate about, please consider booking at Adventure Day tour. This will enable you to Sea Kayak if the weather cooperates, and if it doesn’t (following a discussion with your guide) you will still be provided with a unique day to remember.
