Itinerary

We will head out of Stanley on a short drive to visit the Magellanic Penguins of Gypsy Cove. This can be a busy tourist attraction but even if you don’t like the crowds the view is spectacular and you should get your first sight of some Falklands penguins. From there we will travel 5 minutes to the larger and even more specular beach Yorke Bay and visit the breeding colony of Gentoo Penguins. If you are lucky there are often sealions, dolphins and even king penguins visiting throughout the summer. From there you will travel for 5 minutes and your guide will show you some of the historical sites in the area of Cape Pembroke lighthouse, while enjoying a hot drink and home made snack. From there its back to Stanley for a tour of the history and landmarks of this amazing little city! At the end of the tour your guide will drop you off wherever you would like in Stanley and would be happy to recommend a restaurant, café or pub.
